Trauma & dissociation
For PTSD, complex trauma, attachment wounds, and dissociation. We build safety and inner stability first, then gently process what hurts, at your pace.
Specialized care for complex trauma, dissociation, and Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID), with gentle, parts-based work: EMDR, IFS-informed therapy, and TIST (Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment).
Parents: support for parents whose child has gone through trauma, so home can become a safe place to heal.
Teens & adults
Anxiety, depression & phobias
For worry that won't quiet down, heaviness that won't lift, and fears that shrink your life. Together we find practical tools and the deeper roots, so relief can last.
Teens, adults & parents
Autism, ADHD & neurodivergence
Help with emotions, anxiety, social skills and friendships, coping with change, daily-living skills, and pre-employment skills.
Parents: support for parents of children with autism, including social skills and routines at home.
Parents
Behavioral support for parents
Be in charge of your child's ABA treatment. As a BCBA with 10 years of experience, I'll help you become the expert in your child's ABA. I design the program, train you step by step, and guide you as you carry it out, so your child gets consistent, quality support every day, from the person who knows them best, without long waitlists or changing therapists.
For parents of kids with problem behaviors. I design ABA programs for your child and train you, step by step, to carry them out at home, with real help for meltdowns, aggression, refusal, and routines, plus support for parents who feel worn out.
Children: I support children through their parents, with coaching, ABA strategies for home, and help creating a safe, supportive environment after a child has experienced trauma. Direct sessions for children will come when Starglade opens an office.
Those who serve
First responders
As a Certified First Responder Counselor, I understand operational and cumulative trauma, stress, sleep, and the strain the work puts on families.
Confidential counseling for police officers, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, military, and their families, from someone who understands the job.
Culture & faith
Life transitions, culture & faith
For big life changes, for minority and immigrant clients, and for the culture shock of building a life in a new country. As an immigrant myself, I know firsthand how hard it is to rebuild a life in a new country: a new language, a new culture, and barriers that others don't always see. I offer a space where that experience is understood.
Faith-integrated counseling, on request: for clients who wish, I can integrate their Christian faith into our work, always at their pace.
Schools & programs: consultation on complex student needs, supervision support for behavioral staff, and collaboration with teachers and counselors.

My approach
Safety first. The whole person, always.
My approach is active, collaborative, and shaped around the person in front of me. I bring together the structure of behavior analysis and the depth of trauma-informed counseling.
For trauma, I draw on parts work informed by IFS, TIST, Coherence Therapy, EMDR, and clinical hypnosis. I also use CBT, ACT, and DBT to build coping skills and change unhelpful patterns.
Safety comes first, and the whole person is seen, not just the behavior.
Where I serve
Rooted in Central Texas. Online across Texas and Nevada.
Starglade Therapy is based in Salado, in the heart of Bell County. I see clients by secure video in Salado, Belton, Temple, Harker Heights, Killeen, Copperas Cove, and the Fort Hood area (formerly Fort Cavazos), and anywhere in Texas and Nevada.
I'm especially glad to support military families, veterans, and first responders, along with immigrant families and parents raising children with autism or challenging behaviors.
My story
An engineer who changed her path for her daughter.
I came to the United States from Romania and rebuilt my life here, learning a new language and a new culture along the way. I began my career as an engineer. Then my daughter was diagnosed with autism, and everything changed. I went back to school, became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Professional Counselor, and gave my work to children and families like mine.
I understand the challenges of these children and their families because I live them too.
For the past ten years, I've worked as a BCBA Supervisor in clinical, residential, and school settings, with clients from age 2 to 80.
Outside my work, I'm a single mother to my daughter, who has autism, and I share our home with Hazel, my Aussiedoodle, and Cash, my Ragdoll cat. I love nature, and I find my rest by a quiet creek in a small, beautiful town in the heart of Texas.
The Story of Starglade
Long ago, when the world was young and the stars still remembered their names, there lived Aura, the breeze. She was the soft breath through which light becomes visible. Without her, the light would pass through the dark unseen.
High above her dwelt Hyperion, the light of the heavens. Each dawn he searched for her, and each evening she rose toward him. They longed for each other across the whole sky. But light and air are made of different things, and they could never touch.
Aura suffered a deep wound, and in her grief she lost herself. Zeus had mercy on her and turned her into a river.
What looked like an ending was the beginning.
For where the river slowed and grew still, the light could finally rest upon her water, and in the quiet pool they became one. Their meeting spread across the surface like a glade of starlight, a shining path from the water to the sky.
And at dawn, as her waters rose again as mist, Aura became the breeze once more: still water, flowing river, and living breath.
Starglade: where the tumultuous waters learn to be still.
